No. It is strictly read-only. Every query is a single SELECT statement, dedicated database users are verified as read-only during setup, and the bridge re-enforces read-only on its side too. There is deliberately no tool that can write.
Only if you want to. Where remote MySQL is allowed we connect directly over SSL. Where it's blocked, you upload a small signed PHP bridge that keeps your database entirely local — MCP Dock talks to it over HTTPS.
